Pre-Training with Bryan Visintin
This year there will be a FREE Yoga/Run clinic offered to ANYONE participating in the annual 5k/10k run. It will be held at the Palisades Park Community Center, on the four Saturdays before the July 4th event. The Yoga being taught is all level so anyone is welcome. It is Hatha based yoga meaning it focuses on breathing and poses. The class is designed to strengthen and stretch the body to improve running. Bring your own yoga mat or towel to practice on.
Following a 50 minute yoga class there will be a 25 minute run around the neighborhood similar to the course.
Class will be held from 8am-9am, the dates of June 11, 18, 25, and July 2, in the small gymnasium (the old gym) at the Palisades Community Center.
Bryan Visintin is a nationally recognized certified personal trainer and yoga instructor. He has over 10 years of experience working in fitness, of which the last 6 have been locally around the Palisades. The fourth of July is his favorite holiday and he participates in the run every year. This year he is honored to be more a part of it by helping the community prepare for this awesome and fun event.
